When Porsche released the Macan in 2015, they were not releasing just another Crossover Utility Vehicle, they were introducing a CUV sports car to the market. Keeping the traditional Porsche design DNA, the Macan was an instant success with wait times up to 9 months for delivery. Four years later, the Macan is now Porsche’s top-selling vehicle worldwide.
2019 brings us the mid-cycle refresh for the Macan. Following some of the upgrades we have recently seen in the redesigned Panamera and Cayenne, the Macan now has the full width LED light strip connecting the two rear 4-point LED tail lights. This, along with the redesigned rear bumper gives the rear of the Macan a wider, more aggressive look.
The newly designed headlight cluster includes LED lights as standard and new four-point daytime running lights are sure to grab the attention of oncoming motorists.
The front of the Macan has a whole new design with the lower valance now much more prominent. Along with larger air intakes, the LED signal light strip and the new headlight cluster, the front of the Macan will definitely command the attention of car enthusiasts.
The interior now has the 10.9” PCM 5.1 including touch screen Navigation. Porsche Connect is now standard, including LTE communication module with SIM card reader, Wireless Internet Access and Porsche Car Connect.
The interior trim has also been upgraded, giving the interior a much more luxurious, richer look. Of course, there are still numerous leather upgrades available.
Overall, the changes in the New Macan are sure to be a hit and keep the Macan the #1 vehicle in the Porsche line-up.
